Who is psychotherapy for?

Throughout our lives, within our personal, family, and/or professional history, we inevitably encounter people, events, and upheavals that we may find more or less difficult to overcome. Each of these incidents affects us to the point where we sometimes feel helpless, disoriented, or anxious.

Whether it involves a personal or relational difficulty, a professional challenge, a desire for reorientation, a search for balance, or a need for greater self-knowledge, and whether these troubles are temporary or long-lasting, beginning psychotherapy offers the opportunity to reflect on oneself, one's desires, and one's life choices.

WHY?

The reasons for which a person wishes to consult with me can vary. Here are some examples:

  • To have a personal space for listening, understanding, and non-judgment.
  • To be supported when going through a period of crisis.
  • To discuss psychological, relational, professional, or sexual difficulties.
  • To understand and find meaning in what is being experienced.
  • To flourish more fully in one's life and relationships.
